Zoho Corp has invested significantly in Yali Aerospace, a promising drone startup based in Tamil Nadu, India. Yali Aerospace, founded by Dinesh Baluraj and Anugraha in 2022, is dedicated to revolutionizing the delivery of medical supplies to remote hospitals. The startup, located in Thanjavur, focuses on creating user-friendly technology for both civil and military applications. This investment highlights Zoho Corp's commitment to fostering innovation in critical sectors such as healthcare delivery.

Sridhar Vembu, the CEO of Zoho Corp, expressed his enthusiasm for the investment in a recent social media post. He praised the efforts of Dinesh and Anugraha, a husband-and-wife team who returned from the Netherlands to their hometown of Thanjavur to establish Yali Aerospace. Vembu highlighted their innovative solution, which involved a fixed-wing drone capable of vertical take-off and landing. This technology addresses the significant challenge of delivering essential medical supplies, including medicines and organs, to hospitals located in remote areas.

The drones developed by Yali Aerospace boast impressive technical specifications. They can cover a range of up to 150 kilometers, carrying a payload of 7 kilograms, and achieve a maximum speed of 155 kilometers per hour. These capabilities make them well-suited for urgent medical deliveries, ensuring critical supplies reach their destinations swiftly and efficiently. The investment from Zoho Corp is expected to enhance these capabilities further and expand the reach of Yali Aerospace's innovative solutions.
