Ashneer Grover, a former BharatPe MD and Shark Tank India judge, has unveiled the new fantasy cricket app CrickPe. On Twitter, Grover announced the app's release and referred to it as the "greatest revolution in cricket since the IPL" and the "only fantasy game rewarding cricketers for performance." Players may build a virtual team of cricketers on the Third Unicorn product CrickPe and participate in paid competitions to win money. The application is a part of Grover's Third Unicorn project, which he first revealed last year.
The Google Play Store describes CrickPe as India's most innovative and potent fantasy cricket gaming software, where "Cricket Wins" every day. The only fantasy cricket software in the world that also awards cash prizes to actual cricket players, cricketing organizations, and real club owners. Every public or private contest will incur a 10% platform charge from the total amounts collected by the app.

Grover's fantasy cricket software is being released at a time when other similar applications, such as Dream11, Mobile Premier League, My11Circle, and Games24X7, have already dominated large portions of the market. With more than 13 crore users, India is the largest fantasy sports market in the world. The market for fantasy sports in India is expected to increase by 38% CAGR from INR 34,600 billion in FY21 to an anticipated INR 1,65,000 billion in FY25, according to the Federation of Indian Fantasy Sports (FIFS) and Deloitte.
Users of CrickPe may now pay cricket players in actual money for their on-field performance. By signing up, new users can receive 50 INR as a welcome bonus, and if they have earned a particular sum, they can withdraw their earnings. Users must go through an e-KYC verification process using DigiLocker to withdraw their winnings. CrickPe is an app that was created by NetSolutions India Private Limited.
