Shark Tank India Season 2: Peyush Bansal gets so impressed with a pitcher that he offers him a blank cheque
Peyush’s behaviour and eagerness to invest in Ajinkya’s company surprised the rest of the sharks.
The latest episode of "Shark Tank India Season 2" was quite the spectacle, packed with unexpected surprises that left viewers on the edge of their seats. One such moment came when a young entrepreneur took the stage to pitch his brand, hoping to secure an investment from one of the "sharks." To everyone's surprise, one of the investors, Peyush Bansal, made an unprecedented offer, writing out a blank cheque to the pitcher on the spot. The other sharks in the room were left in disbelief, as they had never witnessed such an offer before on the show.
Ajinkya Dhariya presented his innovative brand, a sanitary pad disposal machine, to the sharks. The presentation was received with great enthusiasm, as all of the sharks were impressed with the concept. In an attempt to win the deal, Peyush, the Chief Operating Officer of Lenskart, offered a blank cheque at the percentage of equity that Ajinkya was seeking. The initial proposal was for a sum of 50 lakh Rupees in exchange for two percent of equity, and both Peyush and Anupam Mittal agreed to these terms.

Before Vineeta Singh and Namita Thapar had the chance to present their own curated offers, Peyush firmly insisted on investing in Ajinkya's company. He declared that he would be going ahead with the deal no matter what, and left it up to Vineeta and Namita to decide if they wanted to participate or not, saying "Dekho main toh karunga deal, tumhe karna, nahi karna vo dekh lena" (I will do this deal, come what may. Now you see if you guys want to do it or not).
The other sharks were taken aback by Peyush's enthusiastic willingness to invest in Ajinkya's company and his bold statement of, "You want Rs 1 crore or 2.5 crores, you will get whatever you ask on your own valuation. Either you are a genius or extremely lucky." He then wrote a black cheque without hesitation. Despite Vineeta's attempt to intervene, Aman Gupta couldn't contain his excitement and exclaimed, "Oh my God, this is amazing." Anupam, who was also eager to join the deal, offered Rs 1 crore for 1 percent equity, matching Peyush's offer. He advised Ajinkya to keep the equity safe, citing his mother's advice.
Namita and Vineeta joined forces to present a proposal and demonstrate their advantage as women in providing superior support to a company producing sanitary pad disposal machines. Ajinkya's pitch was crucial as he successfully made a counteroffer and convinced all four sharks to come on board by offering 4 percent equity for Rs 1 crore. The reaction from the sharks was wild and intense.
