In more than 550 Indian cities, RED.Health has introduced RED Air Guardian, an air ambulance service.
With lower operating costs and the provision of a team of clinical professionals, the service seeks to consolidate the fragmented air ambulance sector.
RED Air Guardian provides various services, including remote evacuation, bed-to-bed transport, and airport-to-airport transport.
A medical emergency response platform called RED.Health with headquarters in Hyderabad, India, has debuted its air ambulance service, known as RED Air Guardian, across more than 550 Indian cities. The service aims to streamline the fragmented air ambulance business, reduce operating costs, and offer a group of medical professionals that can safely transport patients from any terrain or location. To handle international air evacuation, the company has a fleet of more than 25 aircraft stationed at airports around India and another 10 in other countries.
Modern medical technology, clinical routes that have been specified by SOPs, and a staff of highly skilled critical care experts are all included in the air ambulance equipment. The company offers surface transport to and from the airport and can get to the scene of any emergency in 8 to 15 minutes. With access to airports, RED Air Guardian provides services including remote evacuation, bed-to-bed transfers, airport-to-airport transfers, and repatriation. Even helicopters can be used by the agency to carry patients from difficult-to-reach locations.

According to RED.Health's founder and CEO, Prabhdeep Singh, the air ambulance service might help patients who need to travel a long way in an emergency to a specialist medical institution. He continued by saying that the business was committed to using this new project to promote its objective of developing a 911 for Indian healthcare. Indian cities including Raipur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi-NCR are among RED.Health's main markets, as are Middle Eastern cities like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, and Doha.
By the end of 2023, RED.Health hopes to have expanded to over 600 cities since its founding in 2016 when it worked with more than 100 hospitals and 70 businesses. Over $20 million has been raised for the startup over five rounds. It has financial support from a number of institutions, including Kalaari Capital, Pegasus FinInvest, HealthQuad, HealthX Capital Singapore, Hyderabad Angels, INSEAD Angels (Asia), and CM Diamant (a network of clinics and hospitals in Canada and Africa).
