IBM, a global leader in hybrid cloud and AI solutions, has joined forces with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), backed by the Ministry for Electronics and IT, to propel high-performance computing (HPC) in India. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) between these entities marks a significant milestone towards fostering growth within India's developer community. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Electronics & IT, and Jal Shakti, emphasized the transformative potential of semiconductor technology in reshaping industries. Chandrasekhar outlined India's vision to become a semiconductor hub, focusing not only on manufacturing but also on chip and IP design across various sectors.
