Ministry of IT will set up center for excellence in online gaming
Digital India now landed on the excellence for online gaming centers.

Its main aim is to build Digital India startup hub with the aid of software technology parks in India.
Planned to set up this campus in a 10 acre land.
In Shillong India's first center for excellence in online gaming will set up.
PM's vision :
While interacting with the press in Shillong, minister Chandrasekhar stated that it was the vision of PM Narendra Modi to have a great wave of startups and entrepreneurs from the North-east parts of India.
The Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) has recently released the draft of IT amendment rules 2021 in regards to online gaming for public consultation.
As the post pandemic world is completely digitalised, the usage of digital service for products, devices and services has grown wide, the minister also emphasized the importance of digital skills and the need for its development among the north eastern people.
This would enable them to go grab the opportunities both in jobs and as an entrepreneur in this fast phasing world to grow high.
MeitY has also planned in setting up state-of-the-art under the National Institute for Electronics and IT (NIELIT) in Shillong and also planned to set up this campus in a 10 acre land.

Other establishments aimed by the Ministry.
The minister has also planned on re-launching Skill India plan under the scheme of PMKKVY 4.0 to train around 50,000 youths in and around Meghalaya. The ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship has also aimed the target of train 60,000 youth in Tripura and 35,000 youths in Nagaland with approved courses.
The Minister had also said that Skills were the new passport of prosperity and he also stated that skills are the basic requirements to be grown by every individual to grab the opportunities in this growing world.
