Former managing director of BharatPe, Ashneer Grover, recently criticized the fintech company for switching off its social media comments section for 15 months now, claiming that investors are not able to get feedback from customers. Grover also alleged that BharatPe is the only Fintech or startup in the world that has switched off social media ever since he left. The move by BharatPe has surprised many netizens who believe that transparency and open dialogue can lead to valuable insights and build trust. They are hoping that BharatPe will reconsider and reopen their comments section to foster a more inclusive and accountable environment. However, the fight between BharatPe and Grover has been ongoing since his ousting and his wife's, Madhuri Jain Grover.

Grover has criticized the fintech company's Chairman Rajnish Kumar before, and the company, in turn, filed a complaint against Grover and his family members for an alleged Rs 81 crore fraud. The Economic Offences Wing of the Delhi Police filed an FIR against them.
